You will already know that transferring part ownership of your farming operation to a prospective buyer is going to be a huge investment of time, effort and dollars for both parties. 

Many of these joint ventures don’t end well and a major reason for them misfiring is due to differences between the two parties that lead to deteriorating relationships and eventually the total collapse of the whole venture, which is a bitterly disappointing outcome for all concerned. 

Whilst it’s easy to dismiss differences as being down to expectations between generations, there is usually much more to it than that, and PMRE have been working on providing a remedy to this risk for sellers:

Gaining insights into these questions is often a painful drawn-out process of trial and error, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
